Figure 1. The birds in the foreground,
including the bird with its wings raised are all Audouin's Gull. Also present
are a number of Mediterranean Gulls (the small ones) and Yellow-legged
Gulls (darker mantled than Audouin's).

Notice the elegant head shape, rather heavy dark red bill, and dark eye.
The dark secondary bar and dark mottling to the primary coverts indicates
a second calander year bird.
