Identification |
Most readily confused with Common (both Northern and Southern hemisphere) and Antarctic Terns (Southern hemisphere only).
Where and When |
Famous for its extremely
long annual migration from breeding grounds in the high latitudes of the
Northern hemisphere (Arctic and Sub-arctic) and 'wintering' grounds in
the pack ice zone of Antarctica.
