'Black
Brant' #1 from Long Island, New York
Brant #1 Riis Park,
Brooklyn County, New York.

Family matters.
After we had studied Brant
#2, the flock was disturbed by a ground keeper and when they settled,
we noticed these three bird march in front of us as a group. We believe
these represent
Brant #1 (center bird), the candidate hybrid Brant
#1a (right hand bird) and the Atlantic Brant mate (left hand bird).
The larger size of the left hand adult goose suggests it is a male.
